The two companies began their partnership in 2002, resulting in the launch of Ford-Castrol lubricants for our award-winning Ford Eco-Boost engines. These engine oils provide your vehicle with the highest quality, and most technically appropriate lubricant to protect your engine against the elements.
The Ford-Castrol partnership consists of two key components:

Ford Exclusively Recommends Castrol
Ford Castrol engine oils are designed to achieve the CO2 and fuel consumption figures stated in your owner’s handbook. Therefore, Ford engines are prefilled with Ford Castrol engine oil, so that your engine is protected from the moment you start your vehicle.
Inspired by insights from customers and consumers around the world, Castrol is committed to neutralizing its CO2 footprint.
On top of investing in important offsetting projects around the world – from reforestation in Africa to wind farms in Oceania – Castrol assesses the CO2 impact of each litre of Ford Castrol products. Which has led to the development of Ford-Castrol MAGNATEC engine oil products, which are certified CO2 neutral according to the highest global standards.
